Education is an integral part of society’s development. Yet, it is still inaccessible for those that are impoverished. Some children even drop out to work and earn money for their survival. 

According to the International Labour Office (ILO) and United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) Child Labour: Global estimates 2020, trends and the road forward (2021), “child labour is frequently associated with children being out of school.”  

The only work that children should be concerned about is homework.

Instead of working, they should be studying. 

We at Hope Mission Welfare Society are committed to ensuring every child with us finishes their primary and secondary education regardless of their financial background, race, or religion. 

We are happy to report that all of our past children have completed their secondary education. Some of them have gone on to pursue their tertiary education. Two ladies recently completed their early childhood education internship. Another lady obtained her nursing license from the Malaysia Nursing Board. It is our privilege to raise them and see their life-changing success.

You too can help them stay off the streets and stay in school. 

Join our #Street2School Campaign and fundraise RM62,452.20 with us to provide education for 22 of our underprivileged children. The campaign will run from 5 October 2022 to 3 January 2023.

Transparency is one of Hope Mission Welfare Society’s core values. Every contribution shall be meticulously accounted and directly channeled to an underprivileged child for their studies.
