  • 2008

    Inception of the home was kicked off by giving shelter to 3 three children at a rented house on Dec 19, 2008.

  • 2009

    Hope Mission Welfare Society was registered on April 9, 2009 under the department of Registry of societies.

  • 2010

    Home extended the number of underprivileged children to 26 and provided all their basic necessities.

  • 2011

    The formal opening of the Hope Mission Home by the former Deputy Minister of Women, family and community development Y B Heng Seai Kie

  • Tax Exempted Status

    In July 15,2011 yet another mile stone was crossed as the HMWS received its TAX EXEMPTED STATUS from LHDN, Malaysia.

  • 2011

    In 2011 a new milestone was crossed as the Hope Mission Home children began attending various schools in the locality for the first time.

  • 2012

    Berjaya care foundation added another feather to the Hope Mission Welfare Society by donating a brand new Toyota Hiace in support of the children.

  • 2013

    God opened the door for Hope Mission Welfare Society to purchase some real estate. This would enable them move out of their now rented space to the place of their own, which can accommodate many more children.

  • 2013

    Friends and well-wishers came together for this historic movement of the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Hope Mission Home.

  • 2014

    Twice a year Hope Mission Welfare Society takes the children on camps where knowledge in weaving, paper crafts, macrame and other hand crafts were taught.

  • 2015

    Hope Mission Home children are taught to work with their hands at the pottery workshop. This in stills in them the “humility of work” for HMWS believes that no job or skill is too small.

  • 2016

    Fire drills and safety training sessions are conducted yearly by BOMBA, TI.

  • 2017

    Hope Mission Welfare Society organized a fund raising event “HMH Giving Season” as the support of the Children’s welfare

  • Motivational Classes

    Motivational classes were held to encourage the home children for their academic improvement and future study plans

  • 2018

    Kuala lumpur kepong partnered with Hope Mission Welfare Society to educate the children on sustainable hydroponic farming.

  • Annual charity dinner

    Hope Mission Welfare Society’s 10th Annual charity dinner which is organized every year with reference to raising funds for its children and towards bridging the gap between the home and the public.

  • 5km fun run

    On Oct 14 2018, In partner with Adventist Community Services, Hope Mission Welfare Society organized 5km Charity Fun Run to raise funds which also helped the public to get connected more closely with the home children.

  • 2019

    34th Annual Spiritual retreat of Seventh-Day Adventists Indian church camps was held at Cameron Highlands, Malaysia - hosted by Teluk Intan Indian Church and organized by HMWS.
