Hope Mission Welfare Society started on 19 December 2008 with three children under its care.

2009
Hope Mission Welfare Society registered with the Registry of Societies Malaysia and Social Welfare Department (Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia - JKM) on 9 April 2009.

2010
Hope Mission Welfare Society extended the children’s home and 26 children arrived to call Hope Mission their home.

2011
On 15 February 2011, former Deputy Minister of Women, Family & Community Development YB Heng Seai Kie ceremonially opened Hope Mission Welfare Society.

2011
Hope Mission Welfare Society received its tax-exempt status from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia - LHDN) on 15 July 2011. LHDN.
2012
Berjaya Care Foundation sponsored a new Jinbei van for the children’s transportation needs.
2013
Hope Mission Welfare Society purchased a new land to build their dream home and
accommodate more needy children.
- Hope Mission Welfare Society conducted a Groundbreaking Ceremony for its new location.
2014
Hope Mission Welfare Society sent the children to a biannual crafts camp to learn about weaving, paper crafts, macrame, and other hand crafts.
2015
The children at Hope Mission Welfare Society were taught pottery at a local pottery studio.
2016
The Teluk Intan Fire and Rescue Station (Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Teluk Intan) conducted yearly fire drills and safety training sessions.
2017
Hope Mission Welfare Society organised HMH Giving Season in support of its children.
2018
- Hope Mission Welfare Society partnered with Voice of Youth (Malaysia) to organise “Pass it On” - a community event to help low-income neighbourhoods. Activities included but were not limited
to repairing houses, repainting residential buildings, and more.
- Hope Mission Welfare Society partnered with a local hospital to provide basic medical checkups
to the public at Speedy Field.
- Hope Mission Welfare Society organised a 5km Charity Fun Run to raise funds.
- Kuala Lumpur Kepong partnered with Hope Mission Welfare Society to educate the children on sustainable hydroponic farming.
2019
Hope Mission Welfare Society organised the 34th Annual Spiritual Retreat of Seventh-day Adventist Indian Church Camp at Cameron Highlands, hosted by Teluk Intan Indian SDA Church.
2020
- Hope Mission Welfare Society initial foray into online fundraising.
- Kishen (a stateless child under the care of Hope Mission Welfare Society) obtained Malaysian citizenship with the help of Hope Mission Welfare Society.
2021
- Hope Mission Kindergarten is established.
- Bavani (a stateless child under the care of Hope Mission Welfare Society) obtained Malaysian
citizenship with the help of Hope Mission Welfare Society.
2022
- Hope Mission Welfare Society’s Annual Kids’ Camp opened its doors to children of the
community.
- Adventist-laymen’s Services & Industries Southern Asia-pacific Division (ASI-SSD) Director Pastor
Segundino Asoy and Hilir Perak District Education Officer Puan Noor Faizah Binti Hamzah
ceremonially opened Hope Mission Kindergarten.
- Herbalife Nutrition Foundation partners with Hope Mission in their Casa Herbalife Nutrition
programme to improve the lives of children and communities through nutrition education.
- Gayathri (a stateless child under the care of Hope Mission Welfare Society) obtained Malaysian
citizenship with the help of Hope Mission Welfare Society.
2023
- Hope Mission Welfare Society reaches its 15th anniversary milestone. To date, Hope Mission impacted the lives of more than 700 individuals through its children’s home, kindergarten, and social initiatives.
- Hope Mission distributes free food aid to ~15 households in Teluk Intan’s low-income areas on behalf of sponsors.
